We got it fixed. The distributer gear was stripped, so no spark. We think it may not have been installed incorrectly, or the hold down screw could of just come loose. The new motors only had 15 hours on them. Derebery reset the distributer and checked the timing so she is running now. Probobly pull the oil pan in the spring to get the metal shavings out.
We found this problem by pulling the distributer cap and turning the motor over. The distributer wouldn't spin.

I should be all set to pull engines in the next couple weeks. Picked up the beam today.
One of our shop areas in Odessa is slow this week so I am comming back with a slick new drive(s) stand and engine stand.

How did you transport the beam? Sucker had to of been the length of the truck. Or not?
