Im partial, but I dont think any lake has more serious powerboats than Texoma. It is also 90,000 acres with sandy beaches and big water from time to time.

We have a nice club on Lake Conroe in the north Houston area. There are plenty of high performance boats on our lake and just a short trip south there is Clear Lake, Galveston Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico. Lake Conroe is around 22000 acres and has plenty of room to get some good running in. Welcome aboard and I hope you find your spot.

You live in Crowley? Do they build Liberator cats over there? Was always wanting to stop by......

Activator40 - LOTS of opportunity in TX. Also lots of good destinations nearby in OK, AR, LO...

Lake Ray Hubbard is also a best kept secret. About ten resturants accessable via the water. We have a pretty good go fast group and four marinas. See our group at www.hubbardlakerats.com
