has anyone been to the poker runs on KY lake? I have never been there and was wondering if it is worth the trip? From what i gather it looks like there is going to be two this year. Is either one better than the other or are they both pretty similar?

Absolutely worth the trip BIG Daddy , great water,great people, great fun , and Roger & Mitch put on a great event .. Better call early and get a room/cottage

Thats my home lake and I can say that every year gets bigger and bigger. "Mama Tryed" on here is the organizer and can answer any questions you have. Organization of the poker run is excellent....

I've done the run the past 3 years and had lots of fun. I noticed that you are from the Lake Cumberland area......the KY Lake Run is much different than the LCPR. It's much more laid back and I would feel comfortable running it in almost any boat. We go to both every year and enjoy both, but KY Lake is my favorite!

Last year was a blast. We'll be there this year for sure...
