We'll be out saturday for the BRBC Crawfish Boil. Starting out at Tiki Hut where there will be a free Coast Guard Inspection from 10:00 to 12:00 if anyone wants to come out and make sure they have all required equipment.

Hey John,

Coast Guard thing should be interesting. Would like to know what kind of suggestions they have. I think we are headed over to Ponchatoula for the festival on Saturday and boating Sunday but if that changes I'll give you a call.

Had a good weekend. A bunch of us loaded up on the party barges about 5:00 Sat and went out to the lake. Stayed at the sandbar till dark then eased back in. Stopped at a few parties and finally put the boat back on the lift at 10:30 that night.

Took the Baja out for a little spin on Sunday. Let my friends daughters swim in the lake for a little while then ate lunch at Saritas. Made the circle back to the camp and called it a day.

BRBC Poker Run this wekend, I'm pumped up. Kieffer, you still running it?

Yes, still planning on it. I didnt get the fuel pump in before the weekend so I didnt get to run last weekend but should be ready for testing by Thursday. I don't anticipate any issues.

Rode with Reuben and Bobby Saturday. Went to Madisonville. Think Reuben broke a valve spring but we'll find out for sure when the shop opens it up. Idled four hours home. Sunday Darryl locked up one of his motors (575). Was not a good weekend for the boats. I don't feel so bad about rebuilding a drive now. Hate to see everyone breaking.....

Guess it will be Bobby and I running Saturday. Hope the forecast gets better. Long range doesnt look that good right now.

Were you in Reuben's boat late Saturday? Saw him idling in when we were headed out to the lake. Figured he had lost a motor to just be idling down Blind River. I was waving at y'all from the party barge. Would have came over to talk but don't think I've ever actually met Reuben and didn't figure yelling from boat to boat was the easiest way to do it. Klaas filled me in on what happened to the motor.

Didn't know that about Darryl, noticed his boat wasn't on the lift Sunday though. Sucks...

I'm crossing my fingers on the weather but I've got faith.

We dumped everyone else in Bobby's boat and Reuben and I idled home. It was a long ride but the weather was really nice and since we were only going 7 mph we figured a few beers along the way wouldnt hurt. A lot of people waved, I guess just being friendly figuring we were broke. Probably saw you but didnt know who it was from a distance. Reuben will probably be riding with me unless he gets his boat back. Valve covers to come off tonight to see what's up.

Forecast will change 20 times by then. A repeat of last Saturday would be nice. Maurepas was nice even though Pontch was rough. Hope the weather cooperates so there will be a good turnout.

Yeah, I'll take that weather in a heartbeat.

Let me know when you're hitting the stops. I'm selling hands till 12 and leaving from Hilltop then. Probably make a quick stop at BRB and then head across to sun buns as long as the weathers decent. Hit Black Lake and Swampwaters on the way back and put the boat on the lift before I go to The Dock. Probably skip Bayview since I'll be getting a late start.

I imagine after buying the hand at Hilltop we will hit Bayview and then make the rest of the stops in the same order you stated. We'll see what happens at the Dock. Parking is always a challenge there. If its too bad may just roll by and come back in the truck. Hate to do it that way but.....

See you at Hilltop. I'll be selling hands there that morning.

Forgot to ask, how far did you and Reubin have to idle?
