There are no real navigation hazards to speak of nearby on this river, but there are a couple of wake zones. I'll have a pretty good map drawn up, so no worries there.

Again - still in the planning phase, so nothing definite, but I am contemplating a 100% payout for high hand, and donated items for 2nd, 3rd, and low hand. If everything goes right, only the cardstop sponsor money and any donations will go to the club. Working on a band for after the run, too.

AND - since it's a river, the water will be flat so you and JLay can make all the stops! LOL
WHAAAT? I'll have to get you in the apache in the lake with some 3-4's. I think we would be down for it. It's always cool to go to a new place. Having been shown around by the man himself (x-rated) i have to say it is a cool place to boat and not worry about cypress stumps and crab traps! We should get a group of us to go up there. I think a lot of guys from down here would be suprised how many "go-fast" boats are up that way.

P.S. Let us know if we need a permit to cross the mason-dixon line (alexandria)!

Went down today for a while. Didn't do any riding but got a lot of little things cleaned up on the boat. Another 2 days of cleaning and the interior should be ready to go.

More info in a week or two.

Have anymore info? First I've heard anything about it. Nobody has even mentioned it around town.

Don't worry, you'll pass right by it on the way to Biloxi in a few months.

It's a great run, we usually try to get over there a couple of times a summer.

didn't go out in the lake..was a little to rough for Patti...I would have liked to run a little while and get some more seat time in the rough though...she just doesn't care for airing the boat out at all... she said "GET A CRUISER!!!!"

My wife says the same thing that's why she never come's with me. It wasn't too bad on the ride there but the ride back it was white cappin and easily 3'. Not a bad ride though. We did not see any other boat's out in the lake on the east side (guess it's just a little too early). It was still nice to get out on the water though.
