I've never been to Clear Lake yet but when I do I may drop you a line to get some info about the area. It's definitely a place I want to check out. Lake Conroe can be a bit lame and dead these days. Lake patrol is strong and people are gone by sunset. The lake is not what it used to be.

I did a little trip from Kemah to Galveston this weekend . . . smooth and flat there and back, but we got rained on on the way home.
