I was wondering if anyone has experience with how strict they are enforcing decibel laws at Dale Hollow. Going down with a few performance boats in August. Haven't had problems in the past, but have heard of tickets getting written recently. Also, do you get a warning on first infraction?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I own a house boat docked at sulfer creek there. Ive never had an issue at DH. And im running a supercharged 502 with CMI headers and hardin marine strait thru tips. Its loud as it could possibly be.
Actually ive never even been stoped at DH and been boating there for 15 years since i bought my first jetski. I actually did get a written warning and was forced to trailer my boat at patoka lake memoral weekend for noise ordance.
And when you go to dh make sure you check out the water fall at sulfer creek. Its the second big cove on the left out of the marina. You have to walk the creek for 1/4 mile bit its worth it. Absolutely beautiful.

haha ya, I appreciate the info. I got pulled over for "safety inspection" close to Cedar Hill last year, but have not had problems with exhaust in past. Had heard they were cracking down, but hope not...
We will be down 8/3-8/9.

cool. Ill try to make it down that weekend. Were going next weekend. Havent been down yet this year. kinda makes the houseboat not worth having. The CO at patoka that gave me the ticket told me that it was an INDIANA law that thay passed last year and thay were going to inforce it. Over 80db is the limit. but he didnt have a meter so i dont think thay can make it stick. that would be like a cop giving you a speeding ticket and not having a radar. PROVE IT DICK!! lol.

Josh- was just at patoka this past sunday & talked to a dnr guy about the decibel law. He said its the same as it has been for years, but they have some young guys being dicks. They don't have any meters to check it, so no way to make it stick
