I have all the special tools even for current Volvo, have all the current scan tools, have all the service manuals, have all the Service bulletins, have a large part inventory currently and have the custom fuel injector machine to flow test and professional clean fuel injectors. I am in the boat business but changing gears to more of dealer wholesale service & parts. Something to think about as for a lot of boat owners storage for big boats plus working on them is not that easy when you are not set up for it nor have the room, especially in the off season.

I'm all in if y'all will have me - live in highland village few minutes from lewisville lake ! No where near a mechanic but would love to gain some knowledge from the more knowledgeable!

Yes sir can flow test and clean MPI and TBI injectors. I will admit I have never done a diesel application of any sort and I own a diesel truck. I have been doing this service now for 5 years. My customer base is a lot of mom & pop boat shops, a few big dealerships around the US and my own marine customers along with any service boats that are in that need it.

I have wrote a few tips about the service along with a tip or two about injectors up here but not much. Also about adding MMT and or leaded gas as what sometimes it does internally to fuel injectors.

Other info in general, the basket filters inside of the top feed portion of the injectors causes a lot of problems with current gas along with E-0, deposits, rust, dirt, fuel varnish and debrie these days seem to be in the basket filter - . They become restricted easily and then in return can ruin the injector overtime but beforehand cause poor running conditions even sometimes no starts. Impedance of a fuel injector is very important as well.

Very high and very low impedance can mean an internal short. I just had one off a MPI Mercruiser that did not show up till after you test flowed it for over 3 minutes then the spray pattern went really bad. Today's gas does not offer the lubricity as it did in the past. Also will state it seems that today's gas at the land pumps and especially even more at the marinas seems to contain more grit / dirt than it did in the past.

What do you charge for cleaning and checking the injectors, and time frame? I have a TOPPS poker run this weekend and can sent them to you next week? Outlaw Challenge in two weeks so need them back before then.
