My in-laws have a cruiser "Double Click" at Canyon Lake Marina and we've towed the 29 "NAUTI ONE" out a few times from Conroe. We are up almost every other weekend hanging out on the cruiser or the docks/party cove. Was up last weekend and lake is getting a little lower but still more then our puddle we call Conroe

We launch at Potters Creek, the one just before you enter the park. Honestly don't know how deep it is, but it's not very steep, there's a nice wide place to turn around just above the ramp. Parking is the only issue, sometimes have to park up on the road.

I really want to get on the water this weekend. Do you guys think Potter's Creek still has enough ramp in the water for my 32 Sunsation?

Is the dock still floating?

The second page of this link indicates that Potter's is usable to 893? Any real-world reports on the ramp?

Dock is still fully floating. I don't have a clue how much ramp there is past where my trailer gets. My boat is just a 21' with a tandem axle trailer and we launched there weekend before last . I fully submerge my fenders to launch, so I am getting fairly deep for a small boat.

Planning to get out this weekend if it's not raining, but will have the mother-in-law and handicapped bro-in-law with us so will probly just cruise the lake for a bit.

The ramp I'm referring to is #21 just to be clear.

We used to use #17, but it's just single wide and was churning up mud and vegitation when the water was this low a couple years ago. There are submerged trees in that cove too.

The Canyon Lake Marina ramp is deep, but very steep. If you launch there stay left when idlilng toward the docks to pick up as there's a big submerged rock close to the first free slip by the shore. I hit that damn rock first time out with our other boat. Sometimes they mark it sometimes not.

Cool. I'll check it out. Love to see your Mariah sometime too. Fond memories of that boat brand. It was my first boat (1992 Shabah 192). I ran that boat all over the place. Travis, Powell, Havasu, rivers in Pittsburgh and even the Chesapeake Bay.

Damn you get around. Havasu is on my bucket list of lakes I want to get on. We love this lil Mariah. Eventually wanting a bigger second boat though... a house boat if I can figure out how to swing it.
