Default Richland Chambers

Anyone ever done any camping there? Looks like a pretty big lake, but I don't know anything about. Thinking about trying it out this summer.

Check lake levels first before you travel to any inland lakes in Texas. R C lake has really not caught on like Cedar Creek. R C lake has more of your run of the mill boaters like bass fishermen plus you have to know were to go around the lake because of stumps. I would rather go to Cedar Creek or Ray Roberts than Richland Chambers or better yet Lake Texoma or PK. Again check water levels and what launch ramps are open before you plan your trip. If your heart is dead set on R C lake don't be surprised to see abunch of look alikes of Larry the Cable guy running around, nothing wrong with that but had to throw it in the mix.

I'ld love to go up to Texoma but I'm down in Waco and we're meeting some friends in Tyler. Any other lakes in that area that might be good?
