I ran 13 times lost four times, had a blast. You never know what you are running against. Ran against an LS powered Cheyene Jet that was very impressive for a small block. We both crossed the 600' finish buoy at 97mph.
Should have pics in a couple of days. There were over 900 people that came through the gate plus many more that found other ways in.
Look forward to this event every year.

The LS powered Cheyene got me first time when my engine was too cold and bogged momentarily. Got him back later in the day. Raced a few outboards, one whipped me pretty bad. Raced the 911 Jet Boat but they were packing some serious nitrous and were well over a 100 and probably should not have been playing in our class. Raced another jet that beat me last year by 6 lengths and got beat by less than two this year. I will beat him next year LOL

Just found the pictures taken by Mike Jones Photography, nearly 600 pics there http://www.dragracegossip.com/drgpho...y/32/start-250
Here is my favorite that I will have to buy http://www.dragracegossip.com/drgpho...21/category/32
Me on the inside and the LS/Nitrous powered Cheyene on the outside.

Winter nationals are on again this Saturday January 16th same place as last two years at Cypress Cove Marina http://cycoast.com/directions/
Weather looks to be 60 and sunny so a decent day, supposed to be some heavy hitters coming, we will see.
