Think it's been 8 years since I've posted, but yes still boating around Texoma. Cept now I've got 3 kids and just use the family deck boat. Getting the ich to go fast again tho.

We are on Texoma almost every weekend either cruising or at the islands. I just sold my little Scarab excel and bought a PQ last month. Come on Summer!!

Is anybody going to be running around Lake Texoma this weekend? If so, let me know where your swimming hole is and what your boat looks like.

My likely swimming hole will be Coney Island (long point between east and west burns run by the dam) or North Island or Treasure island. Boating with a full crew in either a blue 2003 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck or an old 28 Saber with maroon and grey hockey sticks.

With the zebra mussel infestation
Is there a place near to get hot water to wash your boat, trailer, and bilges

It's a non-issue. Unless your a tournament bass fisherman dunking your boat in different lakes within days of each other there is no need to do a hot pressure wash. Most of the larva will die after a few days especially if it's in a hot environment. The hot pressure wash is more for boats that live on the water. I've never seen so much as a hint of a zebra mussell on the boat and I leave it in the water for a few days during holidays. They are not as prolific as they use to be. I don't even see much evidence of them on the shoreline anymore.
