Default Atlanta Boat Show

Anyone been before? Anyone going this year? Thinking about shooting down on Saturday and drinking some $8 beers.

Was going to try and make it down this afternoon but can't break away. Looking like Saturday will be going for sure.

Miss Geico and the Crazy Chicken race teams were there but I don't recall any other performance boats.
None of the big houseboats were there and all the rest of the dealers were definitely scaled down from previous years.
It was still a good time and worth a few dollars to socialize with other boaters.
Beers were 6 dollars.
The Sea Tow booth caught me and they had a safety course where you had to visit 6 vendors and answer questions on navigation and boating safety. Some of the questions were somewhat challenging but most were easy. If you pass you get a t shirt.
I work at Boaters World part time so please check out there booth and say hello to James (my boss). Get you a new shirt or some Margaritaville shoes.
Be sure and tell them Jim with the Apache sent you.
Jim

Thanks for the info. Looks like we are going to head down on Saturday and check it out. Don't have a lot going on this weekend, so if nothing else, its an excuse to have a few beers.
