If you are staying at the hotel on the Islands they have a ramp there. Not the best in the world but if you launch during the week it wont be so bad but you dont want to launch or load during the weekend depending on what size boat you have. Call me a-d can give you advice depending on what your -lans are 770-318-2591 Tyler. If you can make it Thurs they should have a pretty good crowd for Full Throttle Thursday this week.

I will definatly give you a call. Our boat is a 35ft. Fountain Lightning. A 1999 model. We found a place to let in at off to the left by the gate entrance to Lanier Islands, but not to sure if it is deep enough there. No go on Thursday. It will be Friday afternoon around 4pm or so on the 8th.

Should be deep enough but not sure if ramp is big enough. There is a ramp about a mile before you get to islands called big creek that the islands also own that will suit you better I think. Going that way today will let you know about the ramp at Islands.

The problem with the islands ramp to the left is it's extremely narrow. I was a bit nervous putting my 28 in there, especially with the new dock they just put in. Big creek is the place to launch for anything bigger- wide ramps and plenty deep. There's also Lanier Harbor just down the road with a super easy ramp and it's in the no wake with a fuel dock right there if you need it.

We will be out pretty much all day Sat, Sun and depending on how those two days go, possibly monday.

We have been anchoring down the beach a little basically behind the restaurant where the chaos doesnt seem to be as bad like it has gotten when you are right by the docks and stage area.

My 7 year old doesnt need to expand his vocabulary any more than he has because of the people who have no respect for kids and just blair the uncensored club music all day.

If you see us, come by and say hi or tie up if you want.

I would also suggest Big Creek as well. When you go in to big Creek, use the ramps to the right that are staright down at the end of the road. There is more room to swing around than the other 2 off to the left. Plenty deep there and I have seen 42' boats go in and out there. We are 30' and you will not have a problem.

Big Creek it is. We will be there Friday afternoon and staying at the hotel on Lanier Island all weekend. Look forward to meeting a bunch of you. We also checked out Sunset cove on foot the other weekend and we will dock up there for some food as well. Just look for the White,Purple and Red Fountain.
