. The Us Marines would like to invite every powerboater with a good heart to come to the 2012 Boating Toys For Tots Tour

The 2012 Boating Toys For Tots Tour is a boating event like no other . We ask that boaters bring a new toy and your boat to the Quality Inn of Palatka Fl. There we will have a Captains meeting at 10AM Saturday Nov 17 . The Tour will start at exactly 11:30 and run down the St Johns River to the Welaka city dock were the US Marines will be waiting to collect your toys and gifts . This is followed by a lunch at the Welaka lodge and later a live band party at the host hotel.

On Friday the Nov 16 there will be a lunch run from the dock at the Quality Inn to Crescent city. Boaters will meet on the dock and ready for the 11Am run to Crescent city for lunch and then back to the host hotel for a live band party.

The Boating Toys for tots tour is FREE to anyone who brings a toy and go on the toy run .We welcome all boaters. There is a small charge for registration , this gives you admission to the parties an event T-shirt and participation in the dozens of prizes that will be given to guests. Registration is only about the price of a T-shirt .

Please note that this event is a toy collection drive not a race or a speed event and discretion should be used as these waterways have no speed limits and no special safety provisions are in pace for this event . Please be safe. No jetskis please .

alright its on my bithday!!! had a blast on the fun run last year, didn't make the saturday run the boat wasn't cooperating.... hopefully it will work out better this year!

Planning on being there again this year!

We plan on doing this run this year. I have a couple of questions as we will be Trailering from Orlando.

1. Where do you put in at?

2. Do I have to reserve dock space before we get there?

3. Where do you park the truck & trailer?

Is there anything else I should know before we get there?

1. We use crystal cove marina, about two miles north of the ramada inn on the river.
2. No, first come, first serve.
3.we use crystal cove, 5 bucks a day.
4. The ramada inn docks are a little rough.
