Don,
PPG Concept single stage is what I prefer, I usually get the knockoff from matrix systems, but have even used the cheap Duplicolor stuff(not the spraycans) from Advance auto. Any 2 part paint with an actual catalyst(hardener) should be fine, some just have better U.V. cahracteristics than others. Concept is a good overall paint. Is Shaun still racing overseas? I may have to contact him soon about doing some work to my motor

What you want is a single stage urethane, such as MSU from matrix, or DCC single stage from PPG. Wherever you buy it, they can set you up with the hardeners/reducers.

It's one of Shaun's motors, I believe it started life as a 250EFI, but has all of his mod's with the exception of the stroker crank. The story I heard is he built the powerhead for one guy, but then the guy couldnt pay the price. He had Shaun sell it for him, so when Angel called me looking for a motor, I sent him to Shaun, and he set it on a mid/lower that Angel provided. The package has been in storage for about a year since the boat was being worked on. Angel is now selling it, and it is most likely gonna end up bolted to my transom. it was either that or have Shaun work my motor, but at least this way I can sell mine as a complete running package, let me know if you know of anyone looking for a decent 250.
