Where are the hang out spots on the lake. Is there a good crowed of offshore go fasts? Any places to beach and or restaurants?

Thanks, I'll check it out. Is there anything special I should know navigating the lake. I see it's only down about 3.5 feet
I just thought I would milk you for some local knowledge.

The lake is low and looks like a mud puddle right now. Illinois creek is alright if you like swimimg with the cig butts and dirty tampons (its fing nasty and full of dipsh^$s) no offense John. I have been looking for another place on the lake to get together with some of the local go fast boats but I have not been out alot this summer. Be careful and stay in the channel its a great lake and close it just sucks when it starts getting low this time of year.

Hi Tom, it's Robert, why are you wanting to hang out on the mud puddle, come to Lanier. Much much better boating. Lots of resturants on the lake and a great hangout at Sunset Cove.
