Does anyone have a condo or small house in the keys they rent out? Can't seem to find anything on FRBO in the smaller one bed room places. Most are a month rental. Looking to go after Christmas 26-30th.

I believe any house rentals are 1 month or more due to Monroe County laws unless you know someone. Good luck.

Did not know that. Is there any place elce in south Florida that has the same feel? Or any other island in the keys to look at?

I've lived in Florida for over 10 years. Check out Mariner's resort club in Key Largo. It has a marina that goes right out to the Atlantic. If you bring your boat they will take your boat off your trailer, and back on, that you won't have to put your trailer in the salt water. Great resort has everything from 1 bedroom condos, townhomes, 3000SF penthouses etc. Privately owned units, a management company runs it for all the different owners. Largest pool in the keys. If you look on the west coast of Florida, way more laid back, but Sanibal and Captiva are great places to look at and stay, kind of a Key West feel. Try Tween Waters, or on the more expensive side Seven Seas resort right off of Boca Grande pass, both have Marinas.

Hawks Cay on Duck Key is nice. They rent nice town homes by the week. Just about 60 miles north of KW.
