Default Lake Chatuge, GA

I realize it's not a power boat lake per say, but I was wondering if anyone had been there and if there were any restrictions for horsepower or exhaust? Thanks guys.

Georgia has a muffler law but it is not strictly enforced unless there are complaints. Lake Oconee has had complaints and some isolated fines.
I have not been to Lake Chatuge but I know it does have motor boat access. Their web site says there is ramp access issues that might still be present: Beginning May 27th, 2014, the boat ramp will be closed under a Special Use Permit for construction of a water intake for the local municipality. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. PLEASE CALL THE U.S. FOREST SERVICE AT (706)745-6928 OR VISIT WWW.FS.USDA.GOV/CONF FOR UPDATED INFORMATION.

Maybe that source can answer other questions on boat and power limitations. I would expect some limitations since the lake is only 7,000 acres.
