Welcome back to Floriduh, I can't wait to get out!

If you go 60 miles north storage is much cheaper. $350/month on the treasure coast is what I was quoted for a 30'.

Yeah....I grew up on Florida's West coast! Some memories are coming back quicker then I thought.

Have to convince the wife NORTH is better but I need to be by FLL airport or MIAM to commute to work.

Anyone have other suggestions? Trailer storage, outside rack, inside rack, yearly lease......$800 bucks? FORGETABOUTIT!

Move to St Pete. Great downtown , beautiful boating water , airport close and not all the Rat Race of the East Coast.

Stayed in that area (Tampa) for about 1.5 yrs. for work. Every female at the gym was a 10, must be something in the water!

North would definitely be better for storage, housing costs, quality of drivers lol. I know a few people who rack store their boat, there's all kinds of limitations involved too. Some limit how many times a month you can take it out. Some have very limited hours, others are all day. Some will wash down the whole boat, some wash only the gunnels, not the deck. Be careful with some of the places in the Lauderdale area, you may have a 45min idle to get out to open speed areas. One friend had his 18' rack stored for a year and the price went up almost monthly and went from $275 to almost $400 before he called it quits and stores it back on the trailer.

If you're willing to do trailer storage, there's Brand X performance in Ft Lauderdale. Theres also this storage place in west palm beach, they quoted me $11-12/ft per month I believe.

Grove Harbour, Grove Key, Haulover and Rickenbacker (Miami dry storage locations) all quoted me over $800/month for a 28' with no t-top. I think you'd have a hard time finding anything under $800/month in the Miami area, and that would be for outdoor storage too. Crandon Park Marina has trailer storage for under $250 a month, private flushing stations, security fence, plenty of ramps to launch from...only issue, about a 3-4 yr wait. I'm on year 2. Better off going north.

Best of luck.

TNT will give you a 10% discount if you pay for a year up front.

I was looking for the same thing. there are 3 far inland on the same water near FT Lauderdale with good prices but it’s a long slow haul to get out. I did not find any good prices until Boynton beach.

Gateway Marina Boat Storage was the best deal I found. Also lots of these places have a waitlist.
