Default Miami to Key West

Looking for info. There are a few of us from Ohio, that are considering a trip down next November. We are looking for any info on safe trailer and truck parking, places to stay, restaurant and bars on the way down. How many days do you need to plan for a trip down from Miami or so to Key West to enjoy the trip and see the sights? Where to stay in Key West? Any info anyone has will be appreciated.
Thanks
Dale

Here is a short review of a group boat trip from Homestead/Key West/Homestead in July. They did have a detailed itinerary with hotel/marina/$$'s/contact info/etc. I am sure if you contact them directly they could provide the itinerary for your usage. Hope this helps you. Have fun

Why not coincide with the Florida Powerboat Club Poker Run that's in November and come down for the races?

Run down on one of the days for the departure, enjoy Key West for race week/weekend, and then bounce back through the Keys on the way home.

We are thinking about going down the same time as the races, but want too go down at our own pace. This is probably a one time thing for us all so we want to see as much as we can and have a nice relaxing trip. So we are rested up for the 24hr hell trip home lol.
