We have a trip planned in September but hopefully it will not coincide with the poker run. I'm not sure I am comfortable at that level yet but definitely would like to go visit and check it out.

Looking at 2nd or 3rd week in Sept, we have been coming down for 10 years now. Glad this thread lives still as were looking for a place with a dock. Have a small private rental with a 26' CC w300 Yamaha. Condo's with docks are very limited from what I have seen and home rentals are stupid expensive and they want 30 day mins. I know the Cobalt has some rental units but don't know if they have docks space for rent ?????

I do not know much about the Marinas/docks yet...but you can try Holiday Harbor, Perdido Key.

It amazes me how much that area has grown....my first time at Flora-Bama was probably about 25 years ago. It seemed like it was almost in the middle of no where. Now there's a ton of high rises within a stones throw.

Hey gang, my wife and I just signed up for the Emerald Coast Poker Run, we're probably going to be running our 27' Concept CC We're a little nervous about this as we haven't had ANY time on the water and we're still working on figuring out the water ways here. HOPE to be back on the water soon and maybe meet some of you guys that are posting on this forum!
