30 spectre w OB's x dimension
 

My current height is 1 9/16" above the hull. Thats prop shaft dead center. According to the manufacturer there factory set up is 1 3/8's to 1 5/8's so i'm almost dead center. What kind of speed increase can i expect by raising them a bit and how high is to high ? Current WOT #'s optimum conditions 105.6 @ 6400 rpms spinning 15x32 3 blade merc cleavers.

The boat will pick up speed with more height. The problem is that the motors will go into guardian mode if the water pressure is too low, the rpm too high and the sun and moon mis-aligned. This will make for a sudden loss of rpm on one side or the other, and the 300X gearcase does not freewheel so you just put the brakes on one side.
Hull or transom pick-ups will be the way to go if you seek top performance.
