I just traded in my 300 Promax's for a pair of new 300XS's on my Spectre 30. I have a set of 15 X 32 Merc Cleavers (Non labbed and three blades). I've heard I will probably need more prop.

What's the magic prop for my new rig? Has anybody messed around with this set-up at all? Top speeds? What RPM should I be shooting for?

Tony Pandolfo in Orlando has XS's on his, I believe and has been happy. His boat is for sale on Craigslist and possible here as well - I would contact him and ask. Good guy - I bought some lowers off him a few years ago when I had my 30 Motion and he was just rigging the 300XS. Very knowledgeable.

I just saw a 30 spectre w/ 300xs yesterday, it was from Smithfield, VA, ask a question in the Jamming on the James Poker Run thread and I'm sure someone knows him, I dont I was just driving down the road.
