Default Spending copious dollars on my Spectre 32

Well, I could have bought a second hand DCB for what this baby will owe me. But I wonder whether a DCB would be as much fun.
What is the big selling point of a Spectre 32? Is t that you sit on the floor, and its a low profile boat? The DCB has high seats like our Donzi. Very different.

When they designed the 32, was it for offshore, lakes, high speed handling, adrenaline? I'd love to know...

I bought my boat from Bauberlen on these forums. Bill is a bloody great guy. And a great sales man too. I bought more off him than just the boat. I've got a couple of threads running now explaining what I have done. Check these three out and let me know what you think. FYI, I have no regret. I love this thing beyond belief.

Here is the boat I bought.

$145K. Then I paid 25K to get it to me here in Australia

then another 90K invested here.

And now 60K more.

Is 320K for a 2007 Spectre with new X-Power drives and new 7-10 Ilmors too expensive?

Who cares.... I love it !!

10 days to go and it will be finally back in the water. That's a year of getting it sorted out. Also got a new windshield from Carmen. The shipping to Australia for everything really hurts.
Looking forward to feeling the speed rush again....

was worth every cent. Finally took it for a run in the bay. This video was taken from my friends Nor-tech 3600 running twin 1100 HP Potter motors.
I was running 120 to 130 MPH here.

New props coming to get it running right. It runs up to the limiters real quick atm. prop slip is between 3 and 4 %
