I know water density is different between the two so the props my have lower slip in salt.

You mentioned that you set the motors 52" wide for pleasure what are the pros and cons of wider or narrower?

Well after several months of anticipation and adjustments, the Boat runs flawlessly,
In Fresh Water, Motors set at 1-1/2", 15 x 32 3Blade Cleavers, Dave Bush Stage 1 with Velocity Stack and ECU re-flash.

Unfortunately I did not run the Boat with 30's or I could post a better analysis, I just put the 32's on and just went out, It seams to me it plains a bit quicker than it did before, it spins the props with minimal bow rise then hooks up and it's gone the porpoise problem is very minor if any and only at lower speeds on very flat water with very little Motors & "Center Tab" Trim used to eliminated it.
.
The weather conditions were very windy 20-30mph winds, air temp in the low 90's so I didn't air it completely out, in 1-3' chop on the Lake it was perfect cruising at 70mph I did run it up to 95mph for a bit, with plenty of throttle left.

Can't wait to get more seat time.

That's great, if it's plaining faster with bigger props that must be a nice power bump. Make sure and keep us up to date on the speeds once you get better conditions.

Congrats on dialing in your setup. Setting the cat up has been the best part for me also. I have several good sources of info ,but in the end you just have to try different setups. Be Careful with that tunnel tab at speed. I tried a 4 blade bravo style over the hub 15x 30 this weekend. My Talon didn't like them at all. I lost 10 mph on top end and could only spin them to 6200 " 82 mph where as my 3 blade 15x30 Spinellis ran 96 at 6200+ rpm.I'm spinning in and plan to swap rotation this week. Thanks to all for sharing setup info. I'm going to call BBlades to try some Blasters.

Groper, did you ever get any final top end numbers? I have been following this thread setting up my new to me Spectre. Really considering the DBR stage 1 with Nass cowls. The boat is a 2011 Spectre 30 with 300XS motors. Current set up is prop shaft 1 ½ above the pad, turning merc 3 blade cleavers 15x30, spinning out, 6000 RPM @ 100mph. I am really wanting to try a different prop to see if there are any gains. The boat handles great and is fun to drive with the 30’s. Also do you have to be a paid member to post pics? I was wanting to post a pic of the boat but couldn’t figure out how to.
