Default Delamination issues?

I am considering a 30 Spectre and when I talked to the insurance company they mentioned delamination concerns with some years. I can't find any discussions on this so I'm wondering if anyone knows anything. Thanks!!

Never heard anything about it. I guess with an impact or other damage delamination could also happen as well...

I can write insurance on it no problem. I owned a 30 in 2005 and didn't have any issues with it. Great boat, fun in the rough stuff.

never heard of a 30 having any delam issues. Only know of 1 36 that had any issues. That boat had thru hull water pickups added with a long pipe on the end to extend the water inlet to the front of the engines. Someone stepped on the end of the pipe after the engines were installed causing the water pickup to break free of the glass

I too have never heard of any 30 or 36 delamination issues, BUT I was just denied coverage on a MINT 1999 30 Spectre by Markel, for this very reason.....

I have owned several 30 and never had an issue or heard of anyone having a delamination issue. I seen mine through the glass and vacuum bagging process. Jay builds a good boat.
