Need advice for selling 30 spectre

I broke my back and need to sell my boat. Going to surgeon next week to see what they can do for me.
Trying to figure what i should ask for boat and were to list it.
Its a 2001 30 specte with 300x's. Has full instruments and mercury smart craft gauges, Monster gps speedo.
10$ stereo, windscreen, full cover and cockpit cover. Owens I beam aluminum trailer with new disc brakes and bearing.
Ive owned boat since 2002 and has been stored indoors, flushed and wash after each use, saltwater boat.
All white, factory gel coat is mint and looks new. Have to check motor hours but there low.
I had gear cases taken apart every 3 years and gone thru as maintenance. There original and never blew one.
Motors are original and look new, never had any issues. Boat was maintained by Prescion Marine with open check book.
Mercury racing 4 blade props by BBlades Blueprinted. Boat was rigged by Ralph at pro rock marine[ specter dealer].
He said its the fastest outboard twin Spectre he has ever done. 109MPH
Its a pleasure boat, no stories. Im sure I'm forgetting some options .
Any advice what i should ask and were to list it please. Never sold online before.
Also don't know how to post pics here, any help would be appreciated.

Where is the boat located? You'll need the hours, the market is strong on a lot of boats. Value's are all over the place. E mail me a couple of pictures and I will try and get them posted for you. [email protected]

Congrats, nice 30. If you need a insurance quote on it let me know. I'm a fan, had a 2005 30 built and just picked up a 2008 30 300xs boat. Boats are fun and love rough water.

My wife and I had the boat out and the conditions were right to see what it could do. I knew it would run a bit slower in fresh water at a higher altitude, but I'm just thrilled to be running 100+. The props were only spinning to 6400, too.

good looking boat
definitely set up is dam close as the 30 is a great rough water boat
not the lightest and fastest in a 28-30 but makes up for it in the slop
102-105 is the bubble set up correctly with stock x motors so ur right there
good luck with it and enjoy,,,,

Plum_Crazy 09-18-2017 02:05 PM

Thanks. This boat was running 106 in Long Island with a best of 109. There's still a 106.9 showing in the Garmin chart plotter. My home waters are slower and the 103 was with two heavy guys and 1/2 tanks of fuel. I think with just me and 1/4 tanks 105 should be possible.

johnmiffco 09-18-2017 02:57 PM

ooohhh yea
as we know some just run better than others
when u do above the average ur always happy,,,lol
again good looking rig,,,,enjoy and be safe

Considering the elevation, freshwater and 91 octane, thats a great mph. Yes boat was always stored in big shed, it was my baby and tried to keep her mint .
It is a great rough water boat and those 300x motors are very reliable.
Dan theres more in it, you will get it. Try those 2 things we talked about over winter and try less then 1/4 tank, the fuel gauges go well below the E before they run out.
Lightspeed , john Robinson always used to stop by and admire the boat, he could tell you how i keep it, I'm surprised he didn't buy the boat he hounded me for years, lol.
The new owner is a nice guy, and seems like boat has good home with him, he appreciates a clean boat. Very happy your enjoying the boat, i will miss her.

aim300x 10-07-2017 06:45 AM

Just saw the article whats the fastest 30 spectre! Dan, put a pic of your speed so far, it will be fastest 2 engine outboard in the tread. Once you get that other 3mph post that up.

insanedaddy 10-07-2017 03:11 PM

Sounds like your boat is running pretty good! I have an outboard 30 with XS motors. It runs 103-106 with fuel, beer and people. That is at sea level, salt water, in the summer. Light with one person it has run 108. That was with my old 3 blade merc cleavers. I am running Dewald 5 blades now that run really well. I haven't had a chance to run it light with one person with the new props. Plum Crazy, what props are you running?

I'm running 4-blade 15X32 Merc cleavers.

insanedaddy 10-08-2017 10:07 AM

What gear ratio? And what RPM are you turning the 4 blades.

Plum_Crazy 10-08-2017 09:49 PM

1.62:1 and 6750 RPM.

ARB38 06-18-2018 02:41 PM

Are you guys spinning your props in or out? I picked up a 30 with
300X’s and it is set up with then spinning in. Thanks in advance for any reply.

Plum_Crazy 06-18-2018 03:08 PM

My props spin out. I believe most 30's with OB's spin out.

ARB38 06-18-2018 05:45 PM

THanks for the reply. I am going to switch them and see what happens. I have a 1.75 gear ratio and have four blade Brave 1’s and running 104.6 now at 6500 rpm’s.

ExtremeSkater 06-19-2018 12:01 PM

My 32 with Optis, didnt like spinning out. Ill handling and the porpoise was too much. With Bravo 1's and spinning in, its a great boat.
