When I was looking for one, 30 Spectres were few and far between. Now, there are 3 for sale at once. I'm counting the last one.

How well do these run? My buddy has a I/O but how well do the OB's run at say 50-75mph? Do they hop at that speed?
Handle offshore water decent? Talking real 3-5's. (Pretty normal water outside).

I cruise at either 50 or 80. Yes, they will hop a bit between those speeds. Some have tunnel tabs which helps, but some don't.
I've seen a best of 109.5 MPH with 300X engines, but that's with a lot of propeller and X-dimension tuning. It ran 106 when I brought it home. The 300XS are a bit slower followed by the 300 Promax.
I think the 30 Spectre handles the rough stuff pretty well for a boat of this size and weight. The hull is very forgiving. I was on Lake Huron this summer and cruised at 50 across 2-3's for 35 miles no problem. I was also out one day in 4-5's and didn't have any issues, but only ran about 30 to keep my passengers happy.
