correct He has the original set of molds, statement marine has the 2nd set of molds that jay build and made some slight changes too. I have been told the 2nd set handles the weight of the 4 strokes better

Correct, he filled in the notches at the end of the hull where the tabs reside, and I believe added a strake on the hull. Was to allow for the weight of the Verado's. The original hull tends to porpoise a bit with the heavier I6 motors. However, mine isn't bad with a new V8.
