Hi guys, I'm done with harvest and field work and have some free time now. The boat is winterized and put away, and now I can start thinking about next year. Me being in a cat next year is still in the air, Hills is a little nervous about the idea and I have sticker shock from the boats and insurance quotes!

Trimman,
I have the Aggressor that Sydwayz is talking about. It is actually a 540 with a M-4 Procharger. I have full hydraulic steering, 280 Kplanes, 2" shortie Imco Extreme 1.24 ratio drive spinning a Mercury Maximus 5 blade prop. When it came time to rebuild my 502, I decided to go 540 vs. 510. I went with the 1.24 gear ratio to spin a smaller diameter prop to eliminate some of the roll. The boat is set up to cruise effortlessly. I actually use less fuel than I used to since I can cruise with only the primaries of the carb open (I have my throttle marked where the secondaries open). I liken my Aggressor to my last Suzuki GSXR which was capable of doing in excess of 180 MPH. It accelerated like a bat out of hell and handled very nible. Do I use all of the throttle??? No... Is it nice knowing it is there??? Definately.
Agreed... This is a perfect combo for a single 32 Sunsation. Matter of fact, I had a deposit on a 32 single a few years back.
Had to put that on hold for a new house and a new baby.
I look forward to your replies

They are awesome boats, you either hate em or ya luv em, whish they were a tad wider , i had my 454 mag redone the right way w/ a little tweaking and carb /intake changes she could push 78-79 don't have hydro steering on her though, so that would be a must .she cruises nice at 60 , i just listed mine 4 sale on the sunsation website , plan on jumping into a 288 sunny or whateverelse catches my eye in the spring. What colors are your boat?
