What was first year they came out . How many bottom updates on this model with years.

Good question. I have a 2001 and they were not available then. They may have come out in 04 or 05. That was about one year before they changed the hull to a step, I think. I guessing, maybe others will know for sure. You can always ask Sunsation directly. If you google Hill Top Marine in KY they me be able to help too.

2003. I was at the factory in Oct. of 2002 when they were completing the first one.

288's got the full step in 05.

I remember wishing the Tahoe was equipped with bulletproof glass! I drove that very first 288 mid-open at the on-water boat show at LOTO the following spring. I believe I gave you and Nick a ride on it. Remember the "special" pricing Big Thunder had on it?
