The new March issue of Hot Boat has the 288 Bow Rider, same hull as the regular288. There are several guys on here that have the 288 with 496 Mag HO's, I'm sure they will give you some insight on this boat.

As with all articles you'll find variances with their specs. My 496HO on two occasions in the fall with mid to upper 60's temps and 70+ water temps in salt water with me and a half bag of gas, got 69.1 and 69.2 respectively.
Average pax/junk/gas, on an average summer's day, I'm consistently in the mid 68's. 3 pers and full gas with beer, coolers, anchor, etc. I'm around 67.7-8 consistent. That's with stock 24P Bravo blade with no mods.....
