We were next to him on a poker run this summer and he was running right at 90-91 on GPS and that's a fact.

Rock solid and all done right. Absolutely beautiful boat with not much use. It's a killer deal for someone looking to go fast in style...

So all 32 XRT's with 496HO's or 8,2HO will run 90+? The ones I've seen tested have run low to mid 80's, think there was one in powerboat mag as well. So why is that so funny. Do all 32 XRT's run 90+ without the blueprinted bottom and the raised x? Not saying it can't be done, just never seen or heard about it before. Is 91 the number it will run with 3/4 tank and 4 ppl + food and drink, or is it the lightweight number?

I don't think the XRT's run any better than the SS would? Maybe could not see why that would be? The SS or the XRT with the power you listed would run upper 80's all day. Fstboat has ran low 90's also with his old 08' SS hull with 496 power with CMI headers. Matt run's low 90's on stock Merc power, but as you stated the boat has been blue printed raised x and a lighter deck I think. I know Matt has seen more than 91 but don't know the details of that. But for stock power the boat runs really well. I am no expert on boats or speeds seeing I could have the slowest boat on the forum But this boat moves really well and I would love the chance to own one like it someday, could also be that Matt is one heck of a driver

If Matt would pull of those CC he would really be moving, but Matt is all about the environment and won't ever do that

I have been in a SSR 496 @ 90gps. I have also been in a SS with 5 guys running 86gps. I also have been running 87gps in mine next to Matt as he's pulling away. Not all will run the same. Some are setup to go faster...
