Any Sunsations coming on the market soon?

Hey everyone,

I've been looking at MCOB boats for a while and keep coming back to Sunsation as my first pick. Got a great new job, and I am ready to buy but I'm not finding anything I'd like. I see a couple great looking 32s but I'm not sure I want to pay the extra marina fees quite yet. But I might do it for the right deal.

Ideally I'd like to get a 28' with a 496 HO or better. If it's in Texas or somewhat close, even better. I'd like to keep it in the low 50s for price.

Anyone have some pointers?

Thanks!

Don't waste your time. Buy a 32...

Fill me in :) why?

Size, balance, speed, twins etc... Just as easy to trailer as a 28. Easier to maneuver around docks (especially on a windy day). A lil bigger midcabin. The twins are pretty efficient.

Is the 32 with twin SB faster than a single 28 496 HO?

Yessir by a few ticks. Cruise is nice in the 32 as well.

Personally I'd keep my 28 over a 32 with twin set-up. I enjoy doing my own maintinance and not crushing my knuckles or paying twice for everything. My 28 does really well around the docks. Sure there are advantages to the 32 but the 288 single is a perfect fit for some including me. Great boat!

Go to the Sunsation website forum, plenty of boats. There was a guy from texas selling a nice 28 with a 525. His login was movenonup. The 32 is a pain to work on, but worth it having twins. Has saved my butt once already getting me home.

Just a question, I agree that a boat with twins can be tight, but you really plan to wrench that much where it can change the boat you buy? And what are you really wrenching on that much on the side of the engines? I will say the 32' with 6.2's has alot of room between the engines.
