Not sure why there hasnt been any threads on this boat (actually i have a good idea why, but we'll leave it at that ;) )
But here is a 2014 (not sure how that works either since its the start of the 2013 season...) 32 with 565's... Mid to high 90's. Good lookin boat i must say, Mitcher T does good work! But sshhh, i dont think anyone is supposed to know... :D :whistle:

Not sure of the details but i heard they were experimenting with a floatable foam fairing so it can roll itself back over... :poopoo:

Probably a good guess. If so it will be at the open house. Most boat builders are switching over the model year in the HIN in late June to early July. I've seen boats that don't sell mysteriously get 2 years newer all of the sudden. :eekdrop:

Werent they? Or was that the 36?

There has not been a 36 with black motors that I am aware of. 32 with 525s might be running 90, but not with black motors.

the 32 SSX (raised X, blue printed bottom, labbed props) 90mph with 496HO's.... 525's run in mid 90's right...so 565's (what drives??? xr will rob a little hp) should be very high 90's

SSX touched 90 with mods. The 8.2 XRT went 91with mods. Going with the current. Its not my place to post what this one runs. It flies for a 30' boat but not 100...

They really don't need to be running 100 + in the 32 anyway. Just not enough hull. Congrats to Cory if this is his boat. Sharp. My guess is he will keep this one fairing side up.

Yeah, that was on OSO somewhere - 91MPH with the New 8.2 HO's (I remember reading that somewhere) So conservatively it has 270 more HP+ with 565's.

Even at 25HP per MPH that is still over 100MPH - thought that was pretty interesting.

Interesting. I know what it runs. Also at 90mph, 25 hp is a fraction of a mph. It runs exacly what is should run given the power. The new owner is probably tickled with is new toy.

I was on the boat the first day they ran it and it went just a touch under 97 with out of the box props and a couple hundred RPM's shy of the rev limiters. I wouldn't be surprised to see a hundred MPH with some labbed wheels and a little chop. I must say, the boat pulls like none other. Very impressed with the 565's.

It ran 96-97 first time out, may touch 100 with propping... Why is this such a big secret?? The more you try to hide something the more people are going to speak up. Its not like its a proto-cig for christ sake... :lolhit:

The 565's look sick... Would love to own a pair. Seemed like i was in the minority when they came out, everyone was bashing the look but i thought they looked great. Maybe they are growing on people.
Would be cool to see how the Ilmor MV8 stacks up against these motors

We dont start building for model year '14 till half way thru the year, not build a car winter of '12 and early '13 and call it a 2014. I just think its funny you get a free year, hell i might start advertising mine as an 03 :D

Ford had 2014 Mustangs on the lot 2 months ago (April). Pretty sure all the new boats at the Miami show were 2014's also.


This 32/565 boat is sharp looking, just glad Mitcher T took out some new colors, the reds have been too common lately.

The "break out" promotions of 2004-5 were in boat magazines but most of them are out of business so Im not sure where to see the promos!

I would think the 28/36 are ok, 28 being single step and the 36 being Tres Martin designed. The 28 seems reasonable at 99K too.

Funny, saw this boat going down 26 mile road the other day and thought what a nice paint job! Didn't know there was something special about it! I was wondering when Sunsation was going to build a boat with the new 565's. I think they will see the century mark in this boat with a little work Now I want to see what it runs in a 36 so someone please buy one 1 cause I sure can't afford it!

Something tells me a 36/565 boat has already been built...:whistle: I haven't heard any performance numbers.

I was idling down the middle channel on Saturday after leaving Browns and that 32 blew past us! It is a absolutely beautiful boat!

if i would have seen that boat anywhere near me i would have beached my boat and ran for safety....
