Mine will run 76 to 80 depending on water conditions and gear on board, 454 mag with a m1 procharger and a 30 pitch prop turning 4700 to 5000 rpms

Years back there was a 28 with Crockett power. Seems to me it ran into the High 80's low 90"s. It was named Firecracker as the owner birthday was July 4th. I think his name was Jeff but that way back maybe early 2000's.

He sold it without power then had another motor built for a 42 Fountain he bought. I think the guy moved to Texas with his fountain and I lost track.

I had an 02 with as 509, afr heads and a procharger. 6 lbs of boost I ran 82-83. Owner before me ran 91 with it at 9 lbs of boost, think he only tried it once though.
