If your looking for more performance, a 144 is small on a 496..... going to a larger belt driven intake manifold would help.

We were getting the hatch lifts here. https://www.altramotion.com/our-brands/warner-linear. Look down at the base of the lift where the motor is and it should have the part # on it.

I wonder if the standard drive length is what that hull design needs then? Also I’ve thought about having a prop made by BBlades, I’m sure I could squeeze a few more mph out of it. Another thing with this boat is the trim tabs are really low and closer to the drive compared to other boats. I wonder if it’s ok to move them out further? I want to put 280 kplanes on mine
