2000 32 wants to porpoise
I have a 2000 32 with all aluminu ls3 motors making 650 hp and 565 torque it wants to. Chine and porpoise at 80 mph im running stock 28 bravo1 props I’m going to try some 15x29 mirage plus 3 blades |
I know the factory ran Bravo I props on the big block Dominators and Mirage Plus on those with the small blocks (6.2L's). Just for chits and gigs, have you tried adding weight in the stern to see if it helps? I know Dominators do not like to be over-trimmed.
Pics?! |
They will chine walk above 75 when they are over trimmed.

You weren't use to hydraulic steering. Turn Harder!:picard1:

Do you have the build sheets on those I would love to build a couple for my 32. Post up the Dyno pulls. Also what is the center line? Looks like you have a good amount of room between the two motors. |
I was thinking the same thing. Try adding a little weight to the stern ( like 200 to 300 lbs ) and see if that helps.
Installing those all aluminum engines removed a lot of weight from the stern. You moved the CG way forward. |

Just my opinion, but I doubt it is engine weight, considering mine behaved the same way regardless of fuel load. But it consistently disliked being over trimmed no matter fuel or peeps load in the boat. Engines look awesome!:ernaehrung004:
