Do a search in this section, as the 32' single BBC Sunsations have been discussed a few times. Two of them are owned by friends of mine in VA, and a third was in MD for a while. Also, keep in mind that there have been several different 32' Sunsation hull models; so you can't compare them all to each other.

This is 100% true. My twin 496HO dominator gets *slightly* better fuel economy at a 45 mph cruise than my single 496HO 288 did. I'm talking like 0.1 MPG (as calculated by the Vessel View). I'll take it.

i have an 06 32 with 525 with Whipple 3.3 and SCX and Sc lower. I actually just rebuilt the motor and stroked it to a 540. Still tuning but it is very good on gas, I fact I would say much better then twins. To date I’m cruising at 60ish and wot at 83 @4800 rpm. We only have 28* of timing so far and only 4.5 lbs of boost. There is much more coming. Thinking it should top out at 93-94 and cruise at 65-68. Absolutely a great setup and very easy to work on. Lol
