Dave,

Is the Aggressor bottom indeed the same as the Rocket with just a few updates?

Ecep,

For the most part, yes. They're differences are the delta pad and the vortec vents. Both are great hulls, evolution created the Aggressor hull. Would'nt matter to me which hull was under me, I love em both.

sunsation 540, i am surprised the hydro steering didn't help, mine starts to chine walk at around 67-68 but don't have hydro steering, my buddy has a 92 w/ a built 502 w/ procharger pushing 700 hp hes got full hydro steering and added longer 20" tabs and that really helped, hes running 88 mph hopefully dave can chine in too hear.

Re: 25 sunsation

Hydraulic Steering and wider tabs are a must. The bigger picture is at those speeds there's hardly any hull left in the water to work with. We never designed that boat for those speeds and no doubt you guys are pushing the edge of the envelope here. Wish I could tell you more from experience but I've never had an Aggressor that ran those speeds, about 76 is the best speed I ever ran and the boat handled it well. I'd post over on our site in http://www.sunsationboats.com/forums...isplay.php?f=3

this forum and ask the guys who have built Aggressors more information. Keep us posted on the tips you get.

A local guy here has a 25 Aggressor. I think he has a 540/w procharger. He's running pretty fast.

I think Dave is giving sound advice. I have a similar hull and I think anything over 80 MPH your definitly entering the danger zone.
