4.3s with Alphas in a quad formation would be very unique!!!! I think you would be the 'talk' of OSO with that set-up :D

i think you should consider inline 4 cylinders for the quad engine setup. better economy and less crowed under the hatch. and when you feel the "need for speed" you can get ahold of some tuner kid from the hood to juice them up a little bit. and i think alpha drives would be alittle less costly and lighter then bravo's or # 6"s.

What are you going to do with your gas engines?

Just got back from the lake. They got the lift in. I had a work platform built off the back and it turned out great. Now I just need a boat! :p

I'm telling you, we could fit ZZ Top on that platform.

It did turn out great. I was doubting it at one point, now I am glad I went with it. We just need to adjust the chains to get 4 more inches of depth. I also read the directions on the remote after you left - we need to get the boat on it before we program it. It will shut off automatically once it is programmed. That other guy must not have programmed his, he just left it running hoping it would shut off.

MP, looking sweet.

Any concerns with the drives hitting the platform when the lift comes out of the water? I am sure sunsation gave you a number to work with but it looks a little tight at least from the camera angle.........

OR did you get the tape out and start calculating measurements again :D :D :D

So my boat goes on the lift next to it :(

There is plenty of room, 17 inches from the bunk to the platform. Worst case scenario from the CAD data was 15 inches, that is if we start adding spacers to the drives. My guess is I will end up with closer to 4 inches clearance.

Your boat goes on that lift in May.
