I had fenders on board, but they are useless when you are tied up to a couple round telephone poles.

Spot on? I wish I had video from Sunset cove a couple months ago of you trying to manuver the fat ba$tard in for a raft-off. Hang the fenders horizontally...

John, Was great to meet you and your wife when you were up here in my neck of the woods.I feel lucky to be one of the first in the nation to see and run on the water with the new F-4 .I knew that it was going to be great, but to see it in person and watch it on the water it was way above anything else.Maybe I'll get down to LOTO sometime with my boat and meet up again.thanks for great time see you again soon

That thing either needs another engine, or we can strap a couple trolling motors on each side of the bow.

I sent you an email. Do you have PM activated on OSO, it did not show up as an option when I viewed your personal stuff, but email did.

No way, a noisey 68 is always the better choice.

No bumpers means no tie up to the dock. At least strap a life vest to the pole brother!

Just buy the bumpers that are bigger in diameter then a pole :D Pole 8" diameter bumper at least 10" thats not hard. You would think that the Michigan boys would have figured that out by now :D

Rich.

the coast guard boys are so impressed whne you use a life vest or cushion as a bumper

Who needs bumpers with wooden spiles? Thats wat rub rails are designed for. If it is too rough for that then a 4 way tie off with spring lines. I do have some flat bumpers that are 3' long that I tie them to the poles if necessary. (if the pole is too rough or damaged)
