I believe Sunsation can sell us a clear lexan as Troutly mentioned. Dave?

Troutly,
I had posted the pic's yesterday and other posts yesterday morning, everything I posted yesterday apparently got lost during the updating of the site. Let's try again; |

Jassman,
Steve is correct, the parts are formed with heat and are pretty durable. |

I'd love to have the room of my 38 Special in a Sunsation!!! I love the looks of thier boats, and now seeing the new boat in progress its exciting!! Also like Troutly, I'd be interested in the 36-38ft range!! FYI, For those of you worried about towing a boat over 8ft 6in.....I towed my 38 Special back from Maryland to Kansas City without any problem at all (NO PERMITS). It is simular it only measures 9ft 1in. about half way back way up by the rub rail, not back at the transom. and the trailer is 8ft 6in...... |

Thanks Steve and Dave.
My Nortech 4300 has a beam of 9', I really notice the difference vs my 42 Sonic and 37 Active Thunder. Both of those boats had a beam of 8'6 and 8'4 respectivly but also had a walk around, which had its benifits also. But I really like the wider beam as well as the extra length of the cockpit, it enables another seat to be behind the drivers seat, or a wrap around L or U can be used. Is there room for back to back bolsters like on a 47 Fountain. This project looks great, keep up the good work, very interesting thread. Jeff |
