Yes, if you add the deflector after the fact, the cover has to have a little "pocket" added to it. |

My Nortech 4300 has a beam of 9', I really notice the difference vs my 42 Sonic and 37 Active Thunder. Both of those boats had a beam of 8'6 and 8'4 respectivly but also had a walk around, which had its benifits also. But I really like the wider beam as well as the extra length of the cockpit, it enables another seat to be behind the drivers seat, or a wrap around L or U can be used. Is there room for back to back bolsters like on a 47 Fountain. This project looks great, keep up the good work, very interesting thread. Jeff |

What would be cool, would be if the deflector could somehow be recessed into the faring itself along the top edge, and hide the deflector mounts. Even better or ideally, would be to push a button and extract/retract the deflector into the fairing.... :eureka:
Wait a minute, I better write this down. My last idea (Dominator/Innovator mating "TERMINATOR") came to fruition, why not this.... :D |
