Yes, if you add the deflector after the fact, the cover has to have a little "pocket" added to it.

My Nortech 4300 has a beam of 9', I really notice the difference vs my 42 Sonic and 37 Active Thunder. Both of those boats had a beam of 8'6 and 8'4 respectivly but also had a walk around, which had its benifits also. Jeff, the F4 does not have room for a 4 bolster setup. Sunsation thought about that but had to add another foot or so in the cockpit to accomodate it without things being too tight. Ended up lengthening the engine area for staggered engines, and leaving the cockpit as it is. The thought was to have the second set of bolsters snap in somehow which would allow you to take them out if that days boating agenda was appropriate. I think the cockpit now is about the same as a 38 Formula, only 8'9" wide instead of 8'3".

What would be cool, would be if the deflector could somehow be recessed into the faring itself along the top edge, and hide the deflector mounts. Even better or ideally, would be to push a button and extract/retract the deflector into the fairing.... :eureka:

Wait a minute, I better write this down. My last idea (Dominator/Innovator mating "TERMINATOR") came to fruition, why not this.... :D
