Don't be fooled by the early start, that beach will be FULL by then. People start to show at sunrise as it is the only way to get a "good" spot. It may not be the crowd that will be there at 2pm, but it will still be about 1/4 MILLION each day.

This will be good for all of powerboat racing.

Those that are there for the air show don't know what the hell SBI or APBA or OSS or UIM mean, but if only a small percentage of them get interested in the sport - we all win.
