NC Huge Turnout
With the kilo's behinds us, 50 boat answered roll call at the drivers meeting. With more on the way it should be another huge boat count for SBI/APBA.
Local press is reporting an expected 70 boats for this race.

Cmon Frank....lets be real here.
Who cares what the local press is reporting? Do they have a list of registered boats? 50 boats is a great turnout but lets not make it bigger than what it is. There were 48 in St Clair. The press boasted 70 boats too. 48 was a Great turnout , but could have been better with more than 14 P-boats.

On Friday, by lunchtime, more than 40 boats already had registered for the St. Clair race. The local press expects 60 boats.

Bruce,
50 boats answered roll call at the drivers meeting and some boats are still on the way, sorry if that upsets you and I don't know why it should. No one posted anything negative about ST. Clair. Just posted info. I get for the fans,so we all know whats going on.I'm sure you know plenty of people there that you can check with, last report I got was that the Pitts were packed and they were starting to put boats across the street. SBI/ APBA has been averaging 45-50 (65 in Sarasota) most of the year so I don't see the big surprise. Now with some of the OSS boats coming over that number might be up a little but its been pretty steady. Alot of P boats couldn't make it and we are short 2 F1 boats this weekend also so I think the number will be even bigger in Panama. With almost 100 registered members ( check the web site for the list of members) I would hope we get 50-60 boats a race....
You don't really think I'm going to post ever boat thats where, wish I had the time.
Lets keep it positive and all enjoy doing what we love to do, no matter where it may be.Good luck to you guys on your next race.
