How can you say it will be like no other Worlds we've seen in years?....2004 was the way it should always be.This year is not going to be as exciting for the racers and the fans for obvious reasons.We can only hope that there will be a unified World Championship in 2006.

NO NEGATIVITY IN THIS THREAD !!!! This was intended for the memories from last year. And yes, Frank is correct, with movie shoots, sponsors, celebraties, racing, etc... If you don't want to go then don't go......but your incorrect comments are NOT wanted here !!!! Dave :mad:

That response is not meant to be negative....it is based on facts and the hope that the powers of the sport get together to make a great event even better!

Its not just about boat count, there are new and exciting things happening this year that will bring more TV, and media coverage then ever. It will be a great opp. for the teams, and a huge plus for the sport. We all need to look at the big pic... We can have 90 boats and no coverage thats not a plus. With all the work and plans that the TDC, and SBI/APBA have put towards this race you might be suprised, bigger isn't always better. I'm sure the boat count will be good, possible not 100 boats but we will have a good boat count as always in Key West.

Hope Key West is the best it's ever been. No doubt a fun place to spend some time in November.

I remember gong to the OSO party and standing in line for 20 minutes to get a drink and never getting one !!!!! I did get to meet a few OSO'ers though and had an awesome time !! I THINK !!!!
