Anyone know how Corpus Christi faired with the RITA????? The news is showing mostly Galveston and areas North of there along with parts of Louisiana. Looks like there was some damage but I think most faired OK compared to the last storm and New Orleans.

I know in 2000 it was big...2001 the Sat race was not as big..but the Sunday race was big again.its a challenging course...it comes from all over coming into the carrier...
In 2002 it wasn't that bad at all....pending what type of boat you were in....you diffenitly will come back with some stories to tell about that race....

Just in case anybody was wondering (as I have been questioned), Corpus Christi was "spared" from any Hurricane Rita damage. Thank you all for your many calls and emails and for everyone's concern. Corpus Christi, Texas is going to be great!!! Thanks... Ben
