This by far is one of the BEST race sites ever !!!! The city, the people !!! I can't say enough.....even today when Frank was pulling out of the pits, a local stopped on tne highway, got out of his car, and stopped traffic for Frank to pull out !!! The people of Morehead are terrific !!! I can't wait to go back. The pit's were all close to local resturaunts and watering holes and the viewing, WOW !!!! It doesn't get any better. All I can say is next time you come and watch the races in Morehead.....bring a towell.....the boats were that close !!! Here's some pic's and THANK YOU Morehead for a GREAT time !!!! Dave

Dave is absolutely right.
This place is my new favorite race site. These people organized this race in 3 months and did a bang up job.
The first 20 people to sign up for support boats begged me to let them do it again next year.
The wall between turns 3 & 4 is so close to the spectators they cheered every time they got sprayed. ( Closer than Key West.) And ALL spectators could see the entire race course.

Thanks to the organizers.....all the volunteers (and there were many) the security people, the port authority, and anyone else I'm forgetting, and ALL THE GREAT FOOD. THE BEST!!!!
Can't wait for next year.

WOW says it all, it was by far the best course we have raced all year. The fans were like no town we have ever been to, we thank you all.

Wow! Sorry we missed it! We'll definitely need to put it on our schedule next year.
